Picking a gift for an activity specialist
Activity specialists spend their days making sure the people they work with have something to look forward to. That might mean running bingo in a memory care wing, leading a chair exercise class, setting up a craft table, or planning the monthly birthday party that residents talk about for weeks. It's work that takes patience, a loud and cheerful voice, and a supply closet full of markers, beads and board games. A gift for them works best when it's something they'd actually wear on the floor or use at their desk between programs. A tee or hoodie with their title on it is easy to wear on a long day, and a mug keeps the coffee going through the afternoon schedule. You can make it theirs by adding their name, the name of their facility or program, or a line like Fun Coordinator. If you're shopping for a whole activities department, one matching design with everyone's name on it makes a nice thank-you from administration or from the families they've helped.
Activity Specialist gift questions
Can I change the wording to Activities Director or Recreation Therapist?
Yes. Type any job title into the text box and the preview updates right away. That way the gift matches their exact role, whether it's Activities Assistant, Activity Coordinator or something else.
Can I add the name of their facility or program?
Many designs have a second line for a name, a place or a team. You can use it for their first name, the facility, or a unit like Memory Care, then check the preview before you order.
Is there a good time of year to give one of these?
Activity Professionals Week is celebrated in January, which makes it a natural moment. Holidays, work anniversaries and end-of-year thank-yous also work well for this crowd.
Can I order for a whole activities department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste a list of names, and choose a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the activity specialist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activity specialist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
