Picking a gift for an activity therapist
Activity therapists spend their days making life better for people who might otherwise sit on the sidelines: residents in long-term care, patients in rehab, kids and adults in behavioral health settings. One hour it's a craft group, the next it's a music circle, a garden walk or a game of bingo that gets surprisingly competitive. They plan, adapt and improvise all day, and they're usually the person in the building residents light up for. That's the kind of job where a gift that's cheerful and personal lands better than anything formal. A tee they can wear to a Friday event, a hoodie for the chilly facility hallways, or a mug that's clearly theirs on the break room counter all fit the work. Add their name, or the credential they earned, such as their CTRS if it applies, and it becomes theirs. If you're shopping for a whole department, the Team Shop lets everyone get the same design with their own name.
Activity Therapist gift questions
Can I add a credential like CTRS to an activity therapist design?
Yes, if they hold it. Type it into the text box or the second line and the preview updates. If you're not sure which credential applies, you can use their name or title instead.
What's the difference between an activity therapist and an activity director?
The titles overlap and vary by facility and state. If you're unsure which one fits, ask them or a coworker, or type the exact title they use. Any wording you enter will print as written.
Is there a good time of year to give an activity therapist a gift?
Many people think of National Activity Professionals Week, held in January, as the moment to say thanks. Birthdays, work anniversaries and the holidays all work too, since this job rarely gets enough recognition.
Can I order for a whole activities department or a facility team?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the activity therapist shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an activity therapist gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
