Gifts from Adelphi
Adelphi is a name people from Garden City, Hempstead and the Long Island towns around it tend to say with a little pride. A shirt with Adelphi on it is a way to claim that corner of Long Island, whether the wearer is a student, a longtime resident or someone who moved away and still thinks of it as home. Adelphi is also a name with a campus attached, so for a student or alum a hoodie or tee doubles as a school-spirit piece that gets worn on game days and move-in weekends. For someone who spends their days in another state, an 11 oz mug with Adelphi on it is a small daily reminder of where they're from. Add a second line like a graduation year, a neighborhood or a street, and the design starts to feel like it was made for one person rather than for everyone who shares the name.
Adelphi gift questions
Can I add a graduation year or neighborhood to an Adelphi design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the year, a neighborhood or a street name there and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is Adelphi a place as well as a school name?
Adelphi is commonly used for the Long Island town and the university there. The designs use the word itself, so you can choose the wording that fits the person you're buying for.
What's a good gift for an Adelphi alum?
A hoodie or tee with their graduation year is a popular choice. A mug works well for alumni who want something for the office or kitchen.
Are there designs for babies and toddlers?
Yes. There are baby onesies and kids tees in this style, so a family can match the look across ages.
What sizes do the adelphi shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Adelphi gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
