Gifts from Anacortes
Anacortes is a small city on Fidalgo Island in northwest Washington, a ferry ride or bridge crossing away from the San Juan Islands. People who live there tend to be proud of the harbor, the fishing boats and the slow pace, and plenty of them have moved back after years somewhere busier. A shirt or mug with the city name is a way to say that you know where they're from and that you're glad they're home. For someone who grew up there and left, a tee with the town on it works as a homesick reminder. For someone who just moved in, it's a welcome-to-the-island gift they'll actually use. Add a second line for the street they live on, the year they arrived or the high school class they came out of, and the design stops being generic. Hoodies suit the cooler months, when the wind comes off the water, and kids' shirts or baby onesies work well for the next generation of islanders.
Anacortes gift questions
Can I add a neighborhood or street to an Anacortes design?
Many designs have a second line you can use for a neighborhood, a street or a year. Type it into the text box and the preview will show how it sits under the city name.
Are there Anacortes designs for kids and babies?
Yes. Kids tees, kids dark tees and baby onesies are all available for this word. Each product shows its own set of designs.
Is there a gift for someone who grew up in Anacortes but lives elsewhere?
A tee or mug with the city name is a common choice for people living away from home. Adding the high school class year or the year they left can make it more personal.
What sizes do the anacortes shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Anacortes gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
