Gifts from Appam
Appam is a rice-and-coconut pancake, a staple of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The word here is treated as a place name, so a shirt with Appam on it suits someone who grew up there, has family there, or simply loves the food and the place it comes from. A gift for someone with that connection lands best when it reflects where they're from or where their people are. Add a second line with the neighborhood, the town, or the year they moved away, and the design becomes theirs. Many designs have room for that extra line, so check the preview before you order. A mug works well for a morning reminder of home, and a hoodie suits someone who misses cooler evenings there.
Appam gift questions
Can I add a town or neighborhood to an Appam design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the town, district or neighborhood there and the preview updates so you can check the spacing.
Is Appam a city or a food?
The word is printed here as a place name, so the designs read as a city. If you're buying for someone who loves the dish, the same design still works as a shout-out to where it comes from.
Are there designs for babies and kids?
There are three baby onesie designs, plus kids tees and kids dark tees. Use the product filter to see them.
What sizes do the appam shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Appam gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
