Picking a gift for an application spec
An application spec is the document engineers and product people hold in their heads all day, the one that defines what the software is supposed to do before anyone writes a line of code. The people who write them tend to be the ones who read the edge cases twice, notice what's missing from a requirements doc, and push back in review. A gift that acknowledges that care lands well: a tee for the long meetings, a hoodie for the office that runs cold, a mug for the coffee that gets them through the review queue. Put their title or team on it, or a line they'd recognize as their own. Keep the wording plain and specific, the way a good spec is, and it reads as something made for them rather than a generic tech joke.
Application Spec gift questions
Can I add a team or title under application spec?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a team name, a title or a project name there, and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is this a good gift for a new hire on a software team?
It can be. A tee or mug with their role on it shows you noticed the work they do, which tends to matter more to a new hire than a generic welcome item.
Can I order one design for everyone on the team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the application spec shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an application spec gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
