Picking a gift for an authorization coordinator
Authorization coordinators are the people who chase insurance approvals so patients can get the care their doctors ordered. Their days are full of phone holds, fax confirmations and portal logins, and most of that work goes unseen until a claim gets stuck. A gift that acknowledges the job lands well: a mug for the desk where they fight with payer portals, or a hoodie for the cold office where the thermostat never agrees with anyone. Put their title on it, and add the department or practice name if you know it, so the shirt says exactly what they do. Many coworkers buy one piece for a whole team, and the Team Shop makes that easy, one design with each person's name on their own shirt. Authorization work often comes up in conversations about National Medical Assistant Week and other healthcare staff recognition times, so a thoughtful gift can fit into a planned appreciation moment.
Authorization Coordinator gift questions
Can I add a department or practice name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line you can use for a department, a unit or a name. Type it in and the preview will show you how it looks before you order.
Can I put a credential on the design?
You can type one in, but only use a credential they actually hold. If you're not sure of their exact certification, it's safer to leave it off or ask them first.
Is this a good gift for a coworker I don't know well?
It can be. A mug or tee with their job title is a friendly, professional choice that works even when you're not close, and it's easy to pair with a card.
Can I order for the whole billing or prior auth team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste each person's name, and pick a size for each one.
What sizes do the authorization coordinator shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an authorization coordinator gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
