Gifts from Backus
Backus is a name you'll want to check before you lean on it. It doesn't have a well-known place or history attached that I can state with confidence, so rather than guess at a town or a story, the gift should come from the person themselves. Think about where they live, where they grew up, or where they've been meaning to visit. A Backus shirt on a home-state trip or a hoodie for a college town tells them you noticed where they are. For someone who's moved a lot, a mug with their city or hometown underneath is a small daily reminder of where they came from. If you're unsure of the exact spelling the family uses, check it first, since the preview shows exactly how the word will print. Pair it with a second line for a year or a neighborhood, and it becomes a gift only someone close to them would think of.
Backus gift questions
Is Backus a city I should expect to see on a shirt?
Backus works as a word on any of the designs. If you want a place on it, type the city or town on the second line, which the preview will show you before you order.
Can I use the word Backus alone on a shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box and the preview updates. You can leave the second line blank if you want a simple design.
Which product is best for a gift to someone who moved away?
A mug or a tee works well, since they get used every day or worn on trips home. Pick whichever fits how they spend their time.
Can I order for a whole group of people named Backus?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the backus shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Backus gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
