Gifts from Bern
Bern is a city people visit once and then talk about for years. It's the capital of Switzerland, with its medieval old town, clock tower and the bear pits that give the city its name, and anyone who has lived there knows the mix of quiet streets and river swimming in summer. A gift tied to Bern suits someone who studied there, worked there, or just fell for the place on a trip and keeps wanting to go back. Because Bern is also a common name for people and places elsewhere, it's worth telling the recipient's story in the design: type the year they lived there, or the neighborhood or the street that felt like home. A plain Bern tee is a nice souvenir, but a second line with the year they moved, studied or visited turns it into a memory they'll wear.
Bern gift questions
Is there a difference between Bern and Berne?
Bern is the English and German name for the Swiss capital. Some people spell it Berne, so type whichever spelling the recipient uses and the preview will update.
Can I add a year or neighborhood to a Bern design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a year, a neighborhood or a street name under the city.
Are there Bern designs for kids?
Yes. There are kids tees, dark kids tees and baby onesies with Bern designs, so you can match the whole family.
What's a good Bern gift for someone who studied there?
A hoodie or mug with the city name and their years at the university is a good pick. It marks the time they spent there in a way a generic souvenir can't.
What sizes do the bern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Bern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
