Gifts from Brookland
Brookland is a neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C., and people who live there tend to know it well: the Catholic University and Trinity campuses nearby, the Brookland metro stop that anchors daily commutes, and the quiet residential blocks that feel a world apart from downtown. A Brookland shirt is how a resident says where they're from, whether that's on a walk to the Metro, a weekend at the farmers market, or a visit back home from somewhere else. Because the name is specific and a little local, a Brookland gift tends to land with someone who has a real connection to the place: someone who moved in a few years ago, someone who grew up there, or a student who spent years on the campus nearby. You can make it theirs by adding a street, a year they moved in, or the name of their building or block in the second line. A hoodie suits the cool mornings, a mug the kitchen, and a tee the everyday.
