Gifts for Competitive Intelligence Managers

Picking a gift for a competitive intelligence manager

A competitive intelligence manager spends their days reading between the lines: earnings calls, job postings, pricing changes and the rumor that a rival just hired a new VP. The work is quiet and mostly invisible, so the gifts that land tend to acknowledge the craft itself. A tee with their title gives them something to wear on the days they're buried in a slide deck. A hoodie is the right pick for the late nights before a quarterly review, when the office runs cold and the battle plans get drafted. A mug with their title on it suits the desk where most of their thinking happens. If you know their industry or their team name, add it on the second line; it turns a generic job title into something that's clearly theirs, and it's the detail that tells them you actually listened when they explained what they do.
