Gifts for Computed Tomography Technologists

Picking a gift for a computed tomography technologist

A CT technologist spends the shift positioning patients, starting contrast, and running scans while the radiologist waits on the images, often on their feet in a dim, cold room. The gifts they tend to keep are the ones that feel like theirs and help the long shift go easier. A soft tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the cold scanner bay, or a mug that marks the coffee cup as theirs in a shared break room all work well. Put the full title on it, or the credential they worked for, such as R.T.(R)(CT), so it reads as a specific professional rather than a generic tech shirt. Many technologists also work in a particular modality or department, so adding a line like Trauma, Neuro or Night Shift makes the gift recognizable to coworkers. If you're buying for a whole department, one design with each person's name in the Team Shop is a thoughtful way to mark a team milestone.
