Picking a gift for a computer drafter
A computer drafter turns rough sketches and engineering markups into the clean CAD drawings that builders, machinists and engineers work from. The job is precise and mostly invisible: a drafter's linework shows up on job sites and in shop floors long after the screen goes dark. Plenty of them spend long days at a monitor and then come home to a lot of rooms with a hammer in the corner. A tee for the drive in, a hoodie for a cold office or a site visit, and a mug for the coffee they've been reheating since nine make useful everyday gifts. What makes one land is the detail that shows you know the work. Put computer drafter on the front and add their specialty or company line underneath, such as architectural, mechanical or civil, so it reads as their trade and not a generic office shirt.
Computer Drafter gift questions
What should I put under computer drafter on the shirt?
Their specialty or discipline works well, such as architectural, mechanical, civil or structural. You can also add their firm name or years of experience, typed in the second line of the design.
Is there a title that's more common than computer drafter?
Many people in this field are called CAD drafters, CAD technicians or designers. If that's their job title, type it into the text box and the preview will show how it looks.
Can I order a hoodie and a mug in the same design?
Yes. Open the design for the hoodie and the mug separately and check the text on each, since the preview updates for each product.
What sizes do the computer drafter shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a computer drafter gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
