Picking a gift for a computer science intern
A computer science intern is usually a student or recent grad working their first real stretch of professional code, often with a laptop, a badge they're still getting used to, and a lot of questions they're trying not to ask out loud. Summers and co-op terms are short, so a gift that marks the experience matters more than it might for a full-time engineer. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the office, the campus, or a weekend hackathon makes the internship feel real. An 11oz mug fits the early-morning standup routine, and a name or school year on the design makes it theirs. Add the program or the year they're interning, and the gift reflects what they're actually doing right now. Many internships run for a summer, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps it on hand before the last day.
Computer Science Intern gift questions
Can I add a school or company name to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a school, a team, or a year there. Check the preview before you order.
Is this a good gift for someone who just finished an internship?
It works well for a finished internship or a new one. A shirt or mug marks the experience, and the year on it helps them remember the summer they spent learning on the job.
Are there designs for kids or babies?
The word has designs for kids tees and a baby onesie as well. Use the product filter to see those options.
Can I order shirts for a whole intern class?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the list of names, and choose a size for each person so every intern gets their own shirt.
What sizes do the computer science intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a computer science intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
