Picking a gift for a dba
DBA usually stands for Doing Business As, the filing that lets a sole proprietor, freelancer or small shop operate under a name other than their legal one. The people who hold that title are often the ones handling the invoices, the tax paperwork and the late-night email to a client, so a gift that says they run the operation tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with DBA on it is a nod to the small-business owner who wears every hat. A mug works well for the morning routine at the desk where the books get done. If you're not certain what the abbreviation means for the person you're buying for, you can type their business name into the second line, which turns a generic acronym into something that is clearly theirs.
Dba gift questions
What does DBA stand for?
DBA stands for Doing Business As. It's the name a sole proprietor or small business uses when it operates under something other than the owner's legal name.
Can I add a business name under DBA?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the business name there and the preview updates so you can check how it sits.
Is this a good gift for a freelancer?
It can be. A freelancer who handles their own books and clients often likes a piece that acknowledges they run the whole operation themselves.
What sizes do the dba shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a dba gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
