Gifts from Decherd
Decherd is a small town in Franklin County, Tennessee, and the people who call it home tend to stay put or come back. A Decherd shirt is how someone who grew up there, or who married into a Decherd family, shows where they're from at a county fair, a family reunion or a college campus three states away. Small towns run on local pride, so the best gifts are the ones that feel like the place: a hoodie for the chilly football nights, a tee for the summer cookout, a mug for the kitchen of someone who moved away and still checks the weather back home. Add a second line such as the zip code, a graduation year, or the high school class they belong to, and the shirt becomes a story only they and their hometown friends will fully get. For someone who has left, a Decherd mug on the desk is a small reminder of the street they walked as a kid.
