Picking a gift for a design engineering intern
A design engineering intern is usually in the middle of something big and a little scary: learning the CAD tools, sitting in on design reviews where everyone talks faster than they can follow, and trying to make a first prototype actually work. They're often juggling school or a return-to-school schedule while they do it, and they tend to show up early and stay late to prove they belong. What helps most is a gift that acknowledges that stretch without being corny about it. A tee or hoodie they can wear to the lab or the studio says they're part of the team now, and a mug for the desk gives them a small daily reminder that the work is theirs. Put their name or the program they're in on it, and the gift stops being generic and starts sounding like someone who knows what this internship means to them.
Design Engineering Intern gift questions
Can I put their name and internship title on the same design?
Yes. Type the title into the main text box and their name on a second line, or the other way round. The preview shows you the spacing before you order.
Is design engineering intern a common gift wording?
It's specific enough that it works best as a keepsake for a first internship or a co-op. If they're moving to a full-time role later, a shirt with their new title makes a good follow-up gift.
Which product is best for an intern who works in a lab?
A hoodie is practical for cold workspaces, and a tee works well under a lab coat or for everyday wear. The mug is a good choice for someone who lives on coffee during long sessions.
What sizes do the design engineering intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a design engineering intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
