Picking a gift for a design technician
Design technicians spend their days turning someone else's drawings into something a factory or a building crew can actually build. They work in CAD, check tolerances, chase down revisions and keep a stack of drawings organized, often with very little credit for any of it. A gift that names the role tells them their job is visible to someone. A soft tee for the office, a hoodie for the cold drafting room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so the coffee doesn't disappear from the shared kitchen all say that. Put the words design technician on the shirt, then add a second line for their company, their discipline (mechanical, civil, electrical) or the year they started. It becomes their own shirt rather than a generic job tee.
Design Technician gift questions
Can I add a company name or discipline to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a company name, a discipline like mechanical or civil, or a year, and the preview updates so you can check the spacing first.
Is there a kids or baby version of this design?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, so you can match a family's shirts or dress a little one in a joke about a future engineer.
Can I order shirts for my whole team at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the design technician shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a design technician gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
