Picking a gift for a dev technical mgr
A dev technical manager is usually the one who was writing code until a few years ago and now spends their days in planning meetings, architecture reviews and one-on-ones, trying to keep engineers unblocked while still caring about the codebase. They tend to live in a stack of unread Slack threads and a calendar that's been reshuffled three times before lunch. A gift that acknowledges the hybrid of hands-on engineering and people management lands well. A tee with their title on the front gives them something to wear on a casual Friday, a hoodie is the thing they'll grab for the cold office or the late deploy, and a mug is the one that reliably survives the standup. Put their name on the second line, or the team or product they lead, and it becomes clearly theirs rather than another generic job shirt.
Dev Technical Mgr gift questions
Can I add their team or product name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so type the team, product or your own name there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a version for a dark shirt?
Yes. Dark T-shirts come in their own set of designs, so you can pick a dark tee if the person wears darker colors more often.
Can I order shirts for a whole engineering team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste the team's names and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the dev technical mgr shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a dev technical mgr gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
