Picking a gift for a development intern
A development intern is usually early in a career, often a student or recent grad working a summer or semester in a company's engineering or software team. They spend their days learning the codebase, sitting in on standups, and trying to make sense of a ticket system that seems to have its own dialect. A gift that acknowledges that stage of life lands well. A tee or hoodie with their title reads as a badge of having started something real, and it's the sort of thing they'll wear on the first day back on campus or the first day of a full-time role. Add their name or their school year on the second line to make it theirs. A mug for the desk at the internship is a nice touch too, since the coffee run is often the most stable part of the day. If you're buying for a whole intern cohort, the Team Shop lets you put every intern's name on the same design, so they all get matching shirts for the last week of the program.
Development Intern gift questions
Can I add their name or school to the design?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a name, a school, or a year. The live preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
What's a good gift for an intern at the end of their program?
Something they can wear or use after the internship ends, like a hoodie or mug with their title. It marks the work they did and gives them something to keep.
Can I order shirts for a whole intern group?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Are there designs for kids or baby items too?
Kids tees and a baby onesie are available for this word, but most designs are adult tees, hoodies and mugs, since that's what most interns wear and use.
What sizes do the development intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a development intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
