Picking a gift for a development internship
A development internship usually means someone is early in a career, writing code or building features while learning how a real product team works. They're often juggling a class schedule, a laptop that's always open, and the first time they've had to explain their work to a senior engineer or manager. Gifts that land for them tend to be practical and a little bit proud: a hoodie for cold office mornings and late debugging sessions, or a mug for the coffee that keeps them going through the afternoon standup. You can make the gift theirs by typing the role into the design, and adding a second line for the team, the company, or the year they started. It turns a generic tee into something that marks the moment they stepped into the field. If the internship is ending, a shirt or mug is a quiet way to say you noticed how far they've come.
Development Internship gift questions
Can I add the company name or team to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the company, team or year there. Check the preview to make sure the spacing looks right before you order.
Is this a good gift for a graduating intern?
It can be. A hoodie or tee with the role and graduation year marks the end of the internship and the start of the next step in their career.
Can I order shirts for a whole intern class?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for a developer who's just starting out?
A mug or hoodie with their role and start year is a simple, lasting choice. It's something they'll use every day while they settle into the job.
What sizes do the development internship shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a development internship gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
