Picking a gift for a development team lead
A development team lead usually started as a developer who was good at the work and then got pulled into keeping the rest of the team moving. They spend part of the day writing code or reviewing pull requests and the rest in planning meetings, one-on-ones and unblocking whoever is stuck. Most of their gifts come from coworkers who appreciate how much of the team's week runs through them. A tee or hoodie with their title is a nice way to mark the promotion or a job change, and a mug is the one thing on the desk that's clearly theirs during a long sprint. Add a second line with the team name, the product area or the year they took the role, and the shirt becomes a small record of where the team has been. The shirts come in light and dark, plus kids and baby sizes if the lead has a family at home who wants to join in.
Development Team Lead gift questions
Can I add the team or product name to the shirt?
Yes. Most designs have a second line where you can type a team name, product area or year. The preview updates as you type so you can check the spacing.
Is there a shirt for the whole development team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
Can I get a design for a promotion or a new role?
Yes. Type the new title into the text box and the preview updates, so you can match the wording to what they actually do now.
Are there designs for younger family members?
Yes. There are kids tees and a baby onesie for this title, so the whole household can match if they want to.
What sizes do the development team lead shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a development team lead gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
