Picking a gift for a director appointment
A director appointment usually means someone has been trusted with a big decision, a team, or a budget, and often a long stretch of late nights to get there. The gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the climb: a tee they can wear on a Monday off, a hoodie for the early meetings in a cold conference room, or a mug that's clearly theirs for the first morning in the new office. Put the word director on it, and add the year they were appointed or the department or organization they now lead, if you know it. That small detail turns a generic congratulations into something they'll keep on the shelf. Appointment season tends to cluster around the start of a new fiscal year or board term, so a gift that lands before the first big meeting is well timed. A few words of your own underneath can say what the promotion means to you.
Director Appointment gift questions
What can I add to a director shirt besides the title?
Many designs have a second line for a year, a department or an organization. Type it in and the preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is a director gift a good choice for a team celebration?
Yes. In the Team Shop, choose one design and paste the names of everyone on the team, and each person gets a shirt with their own name.
Can I get a director design for a child or a baby?
Kids tees are available in a few designs, but the director design is most commonly printed for adult shirts, mugs and hoodies.
What sizes do the director appointment shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director appointment gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
