Picking a gift for a director denials
A director of denials is the person who reads the rejection letters, decides which claims stand and which don't, and carries the weight of saying no to people who are often already having a bad week. It's a job that runs on paperwork, deadlines and the occasional hard phone call, so the gifts that land are the ones that acknowledge the work without pretending it's glamorous. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold office, a mug for the morning coffee that gets them through the first appeal of the day. Put their title on it and it stops being a generic work shirt and becomes a small joke only the people in the office will fully get. Add a second line for the department or the year they started, and you've made something they'll actually wear on a Friday.
