Picking a gift for a director development
Development directors spend their days asking people for money, which means they're usually thinking about the next donor, the next grant deadline and the next event that might not sell out. A gift that acknowledges the work, not just the job title, tends to land best. A soft tee for the long days in the office, a hoodie for the cold evening galas and donor visits, or a mug that sits on their desk through every quarterly fundraising push. Put their name on it, or the organization or campaign they're working on, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic office item. If you're buying for a whole development team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a better year-end thank-you than another box of cookies.
Director Development gift questions
Can I add their organization or campaign name?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a year or a campaign. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a specific day to celebrate a development director?
Many nonprofits recognize fundraising and development staff during their annual appeal or year-end giving season, which often falls in the fall and winter. Ordering a few weeks ahead keeps the gift on time.
Can I order shirts for my whole development team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director development shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director development gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
