Picking a gift for a director dining services
A director of dining services runs the food operation for a school, hospital, college or corporate campus, which means menus, budgets, staffing, food safety audits and a lot of early mornings. Most of the credit they earn comes from people who never see their office, so a gift that acknowledges the job itself tends to land well. A tee or hoodie with the title on it is a little tongue-in-cheek for someone who spends their days in a kitchen, but it's also a nod to a role many people don't realize exists. A mug fits the coffee-at-7-a-.m. routine and sits on a desk where they'll see it while they plan next month's menu. Add the name of the institution or the campus they run, and the shirt becomes theirs rather than a generic job title. If you're buying for a whole dining team, the Team Shop lets you put one design on everyone's shirt with their own name.
Director Dining Services gift questions
Can I write the full title, director dining services, on a shirt?
Yes. Type it into the text box as the main line. The live preview shows how the line fits on each product so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Can I add the name of the school, hospital or campus?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a place or organization name. Type it there and the preview updates. Choose a name the recipient would recognize as their own workplace.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted into this role?
A mug or tee with the new title and the year they started is a simple way to mark the move. It's useful at work and something they can point to when people ask how long they've been running the program.
Can I order shirts for my whole dining staff?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director dining services shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director dining services gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
