Picking a gift for a director internal controls
A director of internal controls spends their days making sure the numbers hold up: checking that approvals happen where they should, that reconciliations get done, and that the company can prove its own books to auditors and regulators. It's careful, detail-heavy work that often goes unnoticed until something breaks, so a gift that says their job title out loud tends to land well. A soft tee for the commute or a hoodie for the cold office works for everyday wear, while a mug with their title becomes the one that sits on the desk through audit season. Add the company's year or a team name on the second line if you know it, and the shirt becomes specific to their work rather than a generic office gift. Audit season and fiscal year close are the busiest stretches for this role, so a gift that arrives before those deadlines is the one they're likely to appreciate most.
Director Internal Controls gift questions
What does a director of internal controls actually do?
They design, run and monitor the processes that keep a company's financial reporting accurate and compliant. That includes testing controls, leading audits and working with leadership on risk. Their credential, if they hold one, is worth adding to the design.
Can I add a company name or certification to the shirt?
Yes. Type it into the second line of the design. Many designs have room for a company, team or credential, and the preview updates as you type.
Is this a good gift for someone starting a new role?
It can be. A new director often appreciates a small, personal reminder of the role they just stepped into, especially a mug they'll use at their desk every morning.
What sizes do the director internal controls shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director internal controls gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
