Picking a gift for a director programming
A director of programming usually works the seam between a station, a platform or a venue and the audience it wants to keep, which means long days of scheduling, renewal meetings and last-minute changes when something falls through. They tend to live on coffee and a phone full of showrunner and booking contacts. A gift that suits them is practical and a little wry: a soft tee for a long week of reviews, a hoodie for the early-morning call from a cold office, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it doesn't get swapped at the next meeting. Putting their title on it is the easy win, since 'Director of Programming' is a mouthful that people half-remember. You can also add the organization they run, or a line about the programs they're proudest of, and the shirt starts to read as a personal joke. For a farewell or promotion, a mug with the new title and the year is the detail they'll keep on the desk.
Director Programming gift questions
Can I put the name of the station or venue on the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the organization there, and the preview will show how it sits under the title so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a shorter version of the title?
You can type any wording you like into the text box, so you can shorten it to Programming Director or Director of Programming as you prefer, and the design updates to match.
What's a good gift for a colleague who's moving on?
A mug with their title and the year they served is a warm and useful choice. It's something they can take to the next job and still use every morning.
Can I order shirts for a whole programming team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Every shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the director programming shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director programming gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
