Picking a gift for a director unit
A director unit usually means someone who runs a group of people, a program or a set of responsibilities, and their day is a steady stream of meetings, decisions and people asking them for things. The gifts they keep tend to be the ones that acknowledge the role without making a speech about it. A soft tee for the commute, a hoodie for the cold conference room, or a mug that's clearly theirs so it stops wandering off the desk. Put the title on the shirt, and if the unit has a name or a function, add that on a second line so it reads as their role rather than a generic job tee. If you're buying for a whole team that reports to them, one design in the Team Shop with each person's name on their own shirt is a better way to say thanks than another round of cake in the break room. Pick a time that isn't crowded, since performance reviews and year-end wrap-ups tend to make the office busy in late fall and early winter.
Director Unit gift questions
Can I add the unit or department name under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line you can use for a unit, team or department. Type it in and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a good gift for a director who is leaving the company?
A mug or tee with their title and the year they're moving on works well. It marks the chapter without being too formal for a coworker or team gift.
Can I order shirts for the whole team they manage?
Yes. In the Team Shop, choose one design, paste the list of names, and pick a size for each person. Everyone's shirt prints with their own name.
Are there designs for kids or babies with this word?
A few designs come as kids tees and a baby onesie. Use the product filter to see which ones are available for this word.
What sizes do the director unit shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a director unit gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
