Picking a gift for a documentation spec
A documentation specialist writes the material that keeps everyone else's work understandable: the user manuals, the knowledge base articles, the release notes and the process guides that get read when something breaks at two in the morning. It's often a job people fall into and then love, and it's easy for it to go unnoticed, so a gift that names the role says you've noticed. A tee or hoodie with their title on it works well for a remote workday or a team offsite, and a mug with the title becomes their daily reminder that the careful, clear writing is theirs. Put their name on the second line if you want it to feel personal, or add the team or product they document. Because the title is a bit specialized, the wording on the shirt tends to start conversations, which is exactly what someone in this job enjoys.
Documentation Spec gift questions
Can I add their name or team to the design?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type a name, a team or a product there and check the preview before ordering.
Is this a good gift for someone who just changed careers?
It can be. A tee or mug with the new title and the year they started marks the move in a way they'll notice.
Can I order matching shirts for my whole documentation team?
Yes. Pick one design in the Team Shop, paste the names, and choose a size for each person.
What sizes do the documentation spec shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a documentation spec gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
