Picking a gift for an electrical drafter
Electrical drafters turn engineers' rough sketches into the wiring diagrams, panel schedules and circuit layouts that electricians actually build from. Much of the work happens at a desk and a screen, with long stretches of CAD drawing and checking, then the occasional visit to a job site to confirm what was built matches what was drawn. A gift that acknowledges that mix tends to land. A soft tee works for a casual Friday or a weekend project. A hoodie suits a cold drafting room or a site visit in the early morning. A mug with their title on it earns its place next to the monitor, where the coffee is usually going cold. Add a second line with their name, the company they work for, or the years they've been drafting, and the design starts to feel like it was made for them rather than for a generic trade. Nothing about the shirt needs to be technical to be meaningful; the title itself tells them you noticed the work they do.
Electrical Drafter gift questions
Can I add a name or company under the title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type a name, a company, or the number of years they've been drafting, and the preview updates so you can see how it looks.
Is there a version for a kids shirt or onesie?
Kids shirts and a baby onesie are available for this title, though the choices are more limited than for adult tees. Check the product filter to see the current options.
What if they're an electrical drafter who is also an engineer or designer?
You can type whatever title they use day to day. The design takes any word or short phrase, so you can put their exact role on the shirt or mug.
What sizes do the electrical drafter shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an electrical drafter gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
