Gifts from Elk
Elk is a name a lot of people in the US know mainly from a place: Elk Grove, Elk Grove Village, Elk River and a handful of other towns that carry the animal's name. Someone from one of them tends to be proud of it, and a shirt with their town's name is how they show it at a high school game, a family reunion or a summer trip back home. An elk is also a symbol of the wild, big-sky country that many of these towns sit near, so a design with the word elk on it fits anyone who loves hiking, camping or the open road. For the person who grew up in town and then moved away, a mug with their hometown name is a daily reminder of where they started. Check the preview before you order, and add a second line for the year they moved, the high school they went to or the street they grew up on, so the shirt feels like theirs.
