Picking a gift for an engineering co op
An engineering co-op is a student who splits time between classes and paid work at an engineering employer, usually alternating terms so they come back to campus with real project experience. They're often tired, a little unsure of themselves, and still figuring out which kind of engineer they want to be. A gift that shows you see the work they're doing lands well: a tee for the lab or the job site, a hoodie for the long stretch between co-op rotations, a mug for the early design reviews. The strongest choice is the one that names their discipline or the year they're in, since that's the detail that makes it feel like theirs. Put their name on it, or add their school's engineering program, and it becomes a small marker of a step they worked hard to earn. Co-op terms run across the whole year, so there's rarely a single calendar moment to aim for, which makes any ordinary week a good time to send something.
Engineering Co Op gift questions
What can I put on an engineering co-op shirt?
Their name, their discipline, or the year they're in works well. Many designs have a second line, so you can add a school or program name there.
Is a co-op gift different from one for a full-time engineer?
Often yes. A co-op is still a student, so something tied to school and the first years of work tends to land better than a senior-engineer joke.
Can I order for several co-ops at the same company?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, all on one design.
What sizes do the engineering co op shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an engineering co op gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
