Picking a gift for an exchange operator
An exchange operator keeps phone and data lines moving for a business or a campus, often working the early shift or the calls nobody else wants to take. The job rewards patience and a steady voice, and it's easy to overlook until something goes down. A gift that acknowledges the work lands well: a comfortable tee for a long shift, a hoodie for the chilly server room or the early drive in, or a mug that's clearly theirs so the break room coffee stays in one place. Type exchange operator into a design and add their name or their company's team name on a second line, and it becomes their own rather than a generic work shirt. Gifts like these often get the most use around Telecommunicators Week in April, when many people in dispatch and phone operations get recognized, though this exact date varies by organization, so check your coworker's calendar before you order.
Exchange Operator gift questions
