Gifts from Grantham
Grantham is a market town in Lincolnshire, England, known as the birthplace of Isaac Newton and as the home of a fine old church spire. People who grew up there, or who left for work and still think of it as home, tend to hold on to the name hard. A Grantham shirt makes a good gift for someone who moved away and misses the place, or for a relative who visits England and wants a souvenir that isn't a tea towel. Because the word is short and specific, you can pair it with a second line for the street, a school, or the year they were born there. Gifts for people with a strong tie to a small town land best when they feel personal rather than generic, so use the second line to say something only that person would recognize.
Grantham gift questions
Can I add a year or a street under Grantham?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a year, a school or a street. Type it in and the preview will show how it sits under the town name.
Is Grantham the name of more than one place?
Grantham is best known as the Lincolnshire town, so most people will take the name to mean that. If the person is from somewhere else with the same name, a second line can make the link clear.
