Picking a gift for a groundman lineman
Groundmen and linemen spend their days up poles and in trenches, keeping the power on for people who rarely think about who does it. Their work is cold, wet, and dangerous, and the hours are long, especially after storms when crews are called out in the middle of the night. A gift that shows you understand that life tends to land well. A hoodie is useful for the early mornings on a truck, a tee works for the job site, and a mug fits the coffee they drink before the first call. Put their name on it, or add the crew or utility they work for, and it becomes theirs rather than a generic work shirt. The Team Shop is handy if you're buying for a whole crew, since one design can carry every lineman's name on their own shirt.
Groundman Lineman gift questions
What's the difference between a groundman and a lineman?
A lineman typically climbs poles and works on energized lines, while a groundman works on the ground, supporting the crew, handling equipment and setting up the work area. Both are essential to the job.
Can I add their utility or crew name to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the crew name, a unit or their own name there and check the preview before ordering.
Are there designs for kids who want to dress like a lineman?
Yes. Kids tees and kids dark tees are available in a handful of lineman and groundman designs.
What sizes do the groundman lineman shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a groundman lineman gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
