Gifts from Igiugig
Igiugig is a small village on the Kvichak River in southwest Alaska, a place where most people know each other and the river sets the pace of the year. Gifts for someone from a place this small land best when they carry the name plainly and feel like home. A tee or hoodie with Igiugig on it is the kind of thing a person wears on a visit back, around the house, or to the coffee shop in a bigger town where nobody else has heard of it. Because the name is unusual, it becomes a conversation starter, and the person who wears it gets to explain where they're from. For someone who has moved away, a mug with the village name is a small daily reminder of the place they miss. You can make it theirs by adding a second line for the year they left, the year they came back, or the family name, so the design says something about their own story and not just the map.
Igiugig gift questions
Can I add a year or a family name under Igiugig?
Many designs have a second line. Type the year they lived there, the year they came back, or a family name, and the preview will update so you can check the spacing before you order.
Are there Igiugig designs for babies and kids?
Yes. There are baby onesies and kids tees with this name. Use the product filter on the page to see just those options.
Can I order shirts for a whole family or group from the village?
Yes. The Team Shop lets you choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person, so every shirt prints with its own name.
Is Igiugig a place someone would recognize from a shirt?
Probably not right away, which is part of the appeal. Many people who wear it will be asked where it is, and they get to tell the story themselves.
What sizes do the igiugig shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an Igiugig gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
