Picking a gift for an inspector general
An inspector general usually works quietly in the background, reviewing agency programs, chasing waste and fraud, and writing reports that rarely make headlines. They put in long hours on investigations and audits, often with a lot of paperwork and a lot of people who would rather they stayed away. A gift for someone in this role should acknowledge the work without making a production of it. A mug with their title on it works well for the desk where they draft findings late at night. A hoodie or tee gives them something comfortable for the weekends when they finally step away from the files. Add their agency or their own second line, such as a year of service or a unit, to make it theirs. Type the title into the text box and check the live preview before you order.
Inspector General gift questions
Can I add my colleague's agency or department name to the design?
Many designs have a second line you can use for an agency, office or unit name. Type it there and the live preview will show how it fits before you order.
Is inspector general a title that works best on a mug or a shirt?
Both work well. A mug suits a desk, and a tee or hoodie suits someone who likes to wear their work pride outside the office.
Can I order for a whole office at once?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design, paste a list of names and pick a size for each person, so everyone gets their own shirt with their name.
What sizes do the inspector general shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an inspector general gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
