Picking a gift for an instructional designer
Instructional designers spend their days turning dense material into courses people can actually finish. They build storyboards, write scripts, test interactions and argue with subject matter experts about what learners really need to know. Most of that work happens in a laptop and a stack of revision notes, so a gift that acknowledges the craft tends to land well. A soft tee for a long day of Articulate or Storyline, a hoodie for the cold home office, or a mug for the coffee that keeps the iteration cycle moving. The job title is often a mouthful, so a shorter second line can help, or the tool they use most. Add a team name or a company initial if it fits their workplace. Many people in this field have spent years getting from novice to expert, so a line about it can mean more than the title alone. Keep the wording simple and let the design do the rest.
Instructional Designer gift questions
Can I add a tool name or team under the job title?
Yes. Many designs have a second line for a name, a tool or a team. Type it in and the live preview will show you how it sits under the title before you order.
Is there an abbreviated version of the title?
You can type your own shorter version, such as ID, into the text box. Designs update instantly, so you can compare the wording before you commit.
Do you have options for a whole instructional design team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop to choose one design and paste the team's names. Each person gets their own size and name on the shirt.
What sizes do the instructional designer shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does an instructional designer gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
