Picking a gift for a journalism professor
A journalism professor spends the year reading drafts, grading pitches, and reminding students that a deadline is a promise. Many of them came up in newsrooms, through late nights on a city desk, a cub reporter's first byline, or a stint as an editor before they moved to teaching. A gift that nods to that background lands better than a generic campus shirt. Put their title on it, add the year they started teaching or the school they teach at, and it becomes theirs. Mugs fit the office and the early-morning grading stretch, and hoodies suit the lecture hall, where it's always a little cold. For a professor who's also been a reporter, a tee with a line about the work itself can be the one they actually wear to class. Journalism faculty are often busy in the fall semester and around spring commencement, so ordering a few weeks ahead keeps the gift from arriving after the term has already swallowed them.
Journalism Professor gift questions
Can I add a school name or department to the shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the school or department there and check the preview before you order.
Are there designs for other journalism roles too?
Designs are listed by the word you choose. Journalism professor is the title here, so you'll see the designs made for that phrase.
What's a good gift for a professor who just finished a big semester?
A mug or hoodie with their title works well. It's something they can use right away, and it marks the work they've put in.
What sizes do the journalism professor shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a journalism professor gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
