Picking a gift for a location director
A location director is the person who makes a film or TV set work at a real place: they scout the spot, negotiate with the owners, handle the permits, and keep the crew from wrecking somebody's front lawn. They spend a lot of time on the phone and a lot of time on their feet, often starting before dawn and staying past wrap. A gift that acknowledges that life lands well. A hoodie for the cold early mornings on location, a tee for the long days on the lot, or a mug that goes with them to every site scout. Put the words location director on it, or a second line with the production they're working on or the year they started. If you're buying for a whole department, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a good wrap gift for a crew that's been through a hard season together.
Location Director gift questions
Can I add a production title or year to a location director shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the show or film title, a year, or a department name under the main text. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before ordering.
Is location director a good gift for someone new to the job?
It can be. A first-time location director often wants something that marks the step up, and a shirt or mug with their title on it does that without being over the top.
Can I order for a whole location department at once?
Yes. The Team Shop prints one design for a group. Paste the names, pick a size for each person, and each shirt prints with its own name.
What sizes do the location director shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a location director gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
