Picking a gift for a manager transplant
A manager who moved into the role from the floor, or who was a transplant from another department, company or city, often carries a particular pride and a particular weariness. They know the work from both sides now, and they've probably spent more evenings than they'd like answering questions that used to belong to someone else. A gift that acknowledges the climb lands better than a generic office tee. Put manager on the front and a second line with the team, the department, or the year they took the role, and it becomes a reminder of where they started. A hoodie suits the cold open office or the commute, and a mug is the one they'll reach for before the first meeting. Because the word is paired with transplant, you can also make the second line about where they came from, so the shirt tells the whole story without a speech.
Manager Transplant gift questions
Can I add a team or department name to a manager shirt?
Yes. Many designs have a second line, so you can type the team, department or unit there. The preview updates so you can check the spacing before you order.
Is there a version for a whole management team?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: pick one design, paste the list of names, and choose a size for each person. Each shirt prints with its own name.
What's a good gift for someone who just got promoted into management?
A mug or hoodie with their new title works well, since it's useful every day and marks the change. Adding the year they took the role makes it personal.
Can I write transplant on the shirt?
You can type any word into the text box, including transplant, either as the main line or on the second line. Check the preview to see how it fits.
What sizes do the manager transplant shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a manager transplant gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
