Picking a gift for a mechanical engineering co op
A mechanical engineering co-op is usually a student working full-time at a company between academic terms, learning to read drawings, run tests and take on real projects while still sorting out classes. They're often living on a work schedule that doesn't match their friends', and they're proud of the job but still figuring out what they're building. A gift that acknowledges the co-op specifically lands better than a generic engineering shirt. Put the phrase on a tee or hoodie they can wear to the plant or to class, or pick a mug for the desk where they draft and study. If they're finishing a rotation or heading back to school, add the year or their school's name in the second line. It's a small way of saying you noticed the work they've put in.
Mechanical Engineering Co Op gift questions
Can I add the company or school name to the design?
Many designs have a second line. Type the school or the year there and check the preview before you order.
Are there designs for younger students in the program?
Kids and baby options are available for some designs, but most co-op students are adults, so the adult tee, hoodie and mug are the usual choices.
What's the best option for a student who works on the plant floor?
A hoodie or dark tee tends to hold up well for shop work and cool mornings, while the mug suits the desk side of the job.
What sizes do the mechanical engineering co op shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a mechanical engineering co op gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
