Picking a gift for a mechanical intern
A mechanical intern is usually a student or recent grad working the summer or a co-op term, carrying a laptop, learning CAD on the job, and figuring out which hands-on questions the senior engineers actually want answered. Long days in the shop or the test lab, plus a lot of listening, make a gift that's useful and a little bit funny land well. A tee for the drive in, a hoodie for the chilly machine floor, or a mug for the first morning coffee shows you know the work is real. Add the company or school if you know it, or the year they're starting, and the piece becomes theirs. A mechanical intern is often new to the team and still building a reputation, so a gift with their name and role on it can be the thing that makes them feel they've arrived.
Mechanical Intern gift questions
Can I add a school or company name under the role?
Yes. Many designs have a second line. Type the school, company or year there and check the preview before you order.
Is there a gift for a co-op student as well as a summer intern?
The same designs work for either. Change the second line to the term or year so it matches their placement.
What's a good gift for an intern who's just starting?
A tee or mug with their role is a light, friendly welcome. A hoodie suits someone working in a shop or lab.
What sizes do the mechanical intern shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a mechanical intern gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
