Gifts from Midpines
Midpines is a small unincorporated community in Mariposa County, California, in the foothills on the way toward Yosemite. Because it's small, most people who live there are tied closely to the place, whether they've been there for generations or just moved up for the quiet and the trees. A shirt or mug with Midpines on it is a way of saying where you belong without needing a longer explanation. It works especially well for someone who gets asked where they're from and is tired of saying nearby towns no one has heard of. Sizes and colors are easy to pick from the design list, and a second line can hold a year, a street, or a family name to make it theirs. For a gift that feels personal, pair the place name with something they do there, like a hoodie for cold mornings or a mug for the porch.
