Gifts from Ocilla
Ocilla is a small town in south Georgia, and people who grew up there tend to carry it with them. A shirt with the town name is how someone shows they're from a place that's easy to overlook on a map but hard to forget once you've lived there. It's a gift for the former resident who moved away for work, the family member who still goes back for homecomings, or the neighbor who's kept the same porch for decades. Small towns mean a lot of people share the same history, so a personal second line can make the gift feel like theirs: a street, a graduating class, a year they moved away or came home. A mug on the kitchen counter or a hoodie for cold mornings keeps the town close without needing a long explanation.
