Picking a gift for a perioperative tech
Perioperative techs keep the operating room running. They set up instrument trays, count sponges before and after every case, hand the surgeon the right tool at the right moment, and often stand on their feet through long cases with little sitting down. Many of them trained in a surgical technology program and earned a certification, and that credential is worth printing if they have one. A gift that acknowledges the work lands better than a generic medical tee: a shirt with their name and their credential, or a mug for the break room where the scrubs-and-coffee crowd gathers before the next case. Light shirts show off the design best, while dark tees and hoodies suit the cold OR and the drive home after a long shift. If you're buying for a whole team, the Team Shop lets you order one design with each person's name on their own shirt, which makes a practical and appreciated gift for the department.
Perioperative Tech gift questions
Can I add a certification like CST after the name?
Yes. Type it into the text box on its own line or after their name, and the live preview will show you the spacing before you order.
Is there a special day for surgical techs?
Surgical Technologist Day is observed in the spring, so ordering a few weeks ahead of that is a good idea if you want a gift in time.
What's a good gift for someone who just finished a surgical tech program?
A tee or hoodie with their name and the year they graduated marks the milestone and gives them something they'll wear through their first months on the job.
Can I order for a whole surgical department?
Yes. Use the Team Shop: choose one design, paste a list of names, and pick a size for each person.
What sizes do the perioperative tech shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a perioperative tech gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
