Gifts from Pliny
Pliny is a word a lot of people will recognize from a small brewery or a brewing forum before they recognize it as a place, so start there and see who lights up. For the person this gift is for, Pliny probably means a hop-heavy beer and a certain kind of Saturday. A tee, hoodie or mug with the word on it tells them you noticed what they're into, and the second line can carry the detail that makes it theirs, like a brewery name, a release year or a crew. If you're not sure how much of the beer culture they follow, the safer choice is a plain Pliny design on a mug, which works on any desk. Check the preview to see how the second line sits under the main word before you settle on it.
