Gifts from Point Hope
Point Hope is a small Inupiat village on the Chukchi Sea coast of northwest Alaska, one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in North America. People who grew up there, or who've spent a season working or teaching in town, tend to carry it with them for life. The shirts and mugs here are a way to say where you're from without a long explanation. Because the town is small and remote, a gift with its name on it often means more than a generic Alaska souvenir. For someone who has moved away, a mug with Point Hope on it is a daily reminder of home. For a visitor or a relative who came up for a summer job, a hoodie works well for the cold, windy evenings on the coast. Add a year or a family name on the second line to make it theirs.
Point Hope gift questions
Can I add a family name or year to a Point Hope design?
Many designs have a second line. Type a family name, a year or a short phrase there, and the preview will show you how it sits before you order.
Is there a kids version of the Point Hope designs?
Yes. There are kids tees and dark kids tees for this word, so you can choose a size and color that suits the child.
Which product is best for someone living far from Point Hope?
Many people pick the 11 oz mug for daily use, while a hoodie or tee works well for trips, reunions and cold-weather wear.
What sizes do the point hope shirts come in?
Adult tees come in S to 3XL. Hoodies, kids tees and onesies list their own sizes on each product page.
How long does a Point Hope gift take to arrive?
Each order is printed after you place it, in 2 to 4 business days, then ships by ground in 3 to 5 business days. The product page shows the delivery window for today's orders.
What if the print has a mistake?
If we print something different from the preview you approved, or it arrives damaged, we reprint it free.
