Picking a gift for a recreation director
A recreation director keeps a whole community moving, usually with a clipboard, a whistle and a calendar that never quite fits everything in. They plan summer camps, run the youth leagues, book the pool and the gym, and hear about the broken swing at the park before anyone else does. Most of their work happens on weekends and evenings, when families are out having fun, so the people they serve rarely think about the person behind the schedule. A gift that says recreation director tells them someone noticed. A tee for the field day, a hoodie for the chilly sidelines, or a mug for the office where the phone never stops ringing. Put their title on it exactly as they use it, and add the department or the town on a second line if you know it. The Kids designs suit the staff who came up through the youth programs and still wear the camp shirt.
